Elizabeth Browne was born on 3 Mar 1847 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. She died on 15 Aug 1880 in Bois de Boulogne, Paris, France. Elizabeth married Phillip Henry Lee about 1864. The marriage ended in divorce.
NOTE detail taken from a 1908 American book, extract sent to me by John Hirst (email Feb 2005). She was an actress using the stage name of Adelaide Neison. As a child she used the name of Elizabeth Bland for her mother married a mechanic named Bland after her birth. She was born near Leeds and died on the way back from the USA on a trip to the South of France. As a child she worked at Guiseley, Yorks as a nursermaid and in a factory but at 15 ran away to London and became a successful actress, making at least three American tours. March 3 is given as her birth day but the year is only approximate.
MARRIAGE from source noted above. It was "unfortunate" and in 1877 she obtained a divorse and di not marry again, though there were rumours of marriage to an actor.
