Exactly what is the problem?

The Internet is made up of mutiple parts. Problems can arise from the dial up, from accessing web pages or even to retrieving email. The trick for you is to know exactly what the problem is and if any errors were generated exactly what they say and mean.

For example you can not retrieve your email if you are not connected to the Internet. Therefore if you can not collect your email you need to consider if you can connect to the Internet and surf a couple of web pages before diving into the email settings and making random changes. The simple rule is to TAKE A SLOW DEEP BREATH, COUNT TO TEN, and THEN PROCEED.
