Saving Mail
To save a message you have received, follow the steps below.
Netscape Communicator 4.0
Save In a Folder
- Go to the Inbox window.
- Click on the message.
- Select Message/File.
- Choose a folder from the list that appears, or select File/New Folder to create a new folder.
Save as Text
- Go to the Inbox window.
- Click on the message.
- Select File/Save As.
- Select the file type as Plain Text (*.txt) and click on Save.
Microsoft Outlook Express
Save In a Folder
- Go to the Outlook Express window.
- Click on the message header and drag it into a folder on the left side of the window, or select Edit/Move to Folder. The message will be moved to that folder.
- Select File/Folder/New to create a new folder if necessary. Type in its name. Then click and drag the message into this folder
Save as Text
- Go to the Inbox window.
- Click on the message.
- Select File/Save As.
- Select the file type as Text Files (*.txt) , enter your file name and click on Save.
