Ergonomics

This refers to the ideal set up for computer workstations etc. Setting up the workstation in the manner recommended reduces the number of injuries from repeated use of the computer.

It is important that the chair used is stable (five feet for swivel chairs). It should have a rounded front edge to reduce the pressure on your thighs. It must have a back support.

Ideally the chair and table will be adjustable in height. If the desk is not adjustable, adjust the chair so that your head and arms are in position and use a footrest to support your feet.
