The Transaction Journal
What You Need
- Details of the transaction you want to look at
What You Do
Click on the Transaction Journal function in the General Ledger command centre. The window shown below will appear.
This window shows you all of the entries in all of the journals of your accounting system.
Click on a tab at the top of the window to display that journal. For example, click on the General tab to display the General Journal.
Enter the dates for the start and end of the time period you want to see journal entries for in the Dated From: and To: fields.
Click on the arrow next to a transaction to see the original entry. Any transaction in any journal can be changed, deleted or reversed in the same way as the General Journal Entries.
Click on the Print button to print all or part of the selected journal.
Click on the Close button to exit the Transaction Journal function.
This function appears in all the command centres of M.Y.O.B.
