Finding Files On The Computer

There are often times when you need to find a folder or file that you have created and you can't remember where you saved it. To find a file or folder in Windows 98 you use the Find function from the Start menu.

• Click on the Start button, then on Find, then on Files or Folders. The following screen will appear.

There are three tabs to look at, the Name & Location tab, the Date Modified tab and the Advanced tab. We will look at these one by one.
