Appearance

You can change the way the icons are seen and arranged for each window you open in My Computer by using the View menu.

Open the C drive, then the Winnt folder. Click on the View menu. Look at the menu. There are four options for how your icons are arranged on your screen. You can only have one of these options selected at a time. At the moment the Large Icons option should be selected.

Click on the option Small Icons. Your window should look like the one below.

Select the View menu and the List option. Your window should look like the one below.

Select View/Details. Your window should look like the one below.

You can also change between views by clicking on the relevant buttons in your toolbar.
