He also write, " He had several brothers and sisters, most of whom were born in Collingtree (more consistently in the census records). I have found the baptism of only one of these children - Elisabeth in Collingtree in 1844. I suspect that the rest were not baptised. There is a family connection with Roade. George's mother, Eliza (nee CLARKE) was born there in 1825 and she appears in the Roade Baptist Church records as the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth CLARK(E). It may be possible that
Eliza went home to Roade from Collingtree for the birth of my g grandfather, George.

I have found the baptism of only one of these children - Elisabeth in Collingtree in 1844. I suspect that the rest were not baptised. There is a family connection with Roade. George's mother, Eliza (nee CLARKE) was born there in 1825 and she appears in the Roade Baptist Church records as the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth CLARK(E). It may be possible that Eliza went home to Roade from Collingtree for the birth of my g grandfather, George.
