Formatting Text - Bold, Italic, Underline

Bold Text

To make your text bold:

Select the text you wish to change. Click on the Bold button on the Formatting toolbar

Your text will be bolded. Bold text looks like this.

• Open the document Thomas & Friends.
• Bold all the headings which are written in capitals.

 

Italic Text

To make your text bold:

Select the text you wish to change. Click on the Italic button on the Formatting toolbar

Your text will be italicised. 0Italicised text looks like this.

• Italicise all the "Historical Note" sub headings.

 

Underlined Text

To make your text underlined:

Select the text you wish to change. Click on the Underline button on the Formatting toolbar

Your text will be underlined. Underlined text looks like this.

• Underline the heading "Thomas's New Friends"
• Underline all the "Historical Note" sub headings.
• Save the document Thomas & Friends (select File/Save)
• Close the document.
